How Network Communications, Inc. collects, uses and protects the information you give us through this website.

Network Communications, Inc. — Net-Com — has provided managed IT, infrastructure and connectivity services from Pensacola, Florida since 1999. This policy covers www.net-com.com and our text-message program. It does not cover services we deliver under a signed customer agreement, which are governed by that agreement.

1. Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, plus the basic technical records any web server keeps.

  • Contact form. Name, company, email address, phone number, the topic you select and the message you write.
  • Text-message opt-in. Your name, mobile number, optional email address, and a record of your consent — the date and time, your IP address, and the exact wording of the consent language you agreed to.
  • Server logs. Our web server records IP address, date and time, the page requested, and browser user-agent. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting.

We do not ask for, and this website does not collect, payment card details, Social Security numbers or other sensitive personal information.

2. How we use it

  • To answer your question, prepare a quote, or route you to the right person on our team.
  • To send you the text messages you asked for, if you opted in.
  • To keep this website secure and to filter automated spam submissions.
  • To keep a record of consent, as messaging regulations require.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, and we do not send marketing email to people who simply filled out the contact form.

3. SMS / text messaging

SMS / Text Messaging. When you opt in to text messages from Net-Com (Network Communications, Inc.), we collect your mobile number and consent. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.

4. When we share information

We share personal information only in these situations:

  • Service providers. Vendors who operate parts of our infrastructure on our behalf — for example the messaging carrier that delivers our texts, or our email host. They may use the information only to perform that service for us.
  • Legal requirements. When we are required to by law, subpoena or other valid legal process, or to protect our rights, property or safety.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising or analytics trackers. If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated before we do.

6. Third-party services on this site

  • Google Fonts serves the typefaces used here. Your browser requests those files from Google, which sees your IP address as part of that request.
  • Google Maps powers the embedded map on our contact page. Google's own privacy policy applies to that embed.

7. How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are delivered to a mailbox inside our own infrastructure, and consent records are stored on a server we own and operate, outside the publicly reachable part of the website. Access is limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

8. How long we keep it

Contact form submissions are kept as long as they are useful for the conversation they started. Text-message consent records are kept for as long as you remain opted in and for a reasonable period afterwards, because regulations require us to be able to show when and how consent was given. Server logs rotate on a short schedule.

9. Your choices

  • Stop texts at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. Reply HELP for help.
  • Ask what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@net-com.com or calling (850) 969-0930. We will respond within a reasonable time.

10. Children

This website and our text-message program are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the revised version here and update the effective date at the top of the page.
