Our story

We started as the people you called when the computer wouldn't cooperate.

Net-Com began in Pensacola in 1999 — back when most local businesses knew us simply as “the computer guy” they trusted to keep things running.

That reputation never changed; the scope did. As our clients grew, so did what they needed from us — servers, networks, security, connectivity and around-the-clock support. Rather than outsource those pieces, we built them. We stood up our own data centers, opened a network operations center, staffed our own call centers, and constructed a wireless network to reach businesses fiber had skipped.

Today Net-Com is a full managed service provider with AI built into the core of how we operate — and into how we help clients automate their own work. But the principle behind it is the same one we started with: be the team a business can actually call, and own enough of the technology to genuinely fix things.

2000s

Growing into managed services

As clients ask for more, Net-Com shifts from break-fix help to proactive, monitored support — managing networks, servers and security as an ongoing service.

2010s

Bringing the infrastructure in-house

Rather than rely on third parties, Net-Com builds and operates its own data centers and a 24/7 network operations center — and staffs its own call centers.

2020s

A wireless network and a full managed stack

Net-Com runs its own wireless ISP and delivers managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, connectivity and support — all owned and operated by one accountable local company.

AI woven through the operation

Net-Com builds AI into its management system — automating monitoring, service delivery and customer support — and begins helping clients adopt AI to automate their own operations and lower costs, with a local engineer behind every decision.
